MLF range of Premium Lima Re-Motor Kits. 

ModelTorque has developed a new motor kit to replace the existing "pancake" motor in Lima locomotives in HO/OO scale. 

• These pictures display the MLF-20 Re-Motor Kit for Lima powered locomotives. The Kit contains the replacement motor with the mounting bracket attached to it, and a speed reduction diode set to create a similar top speed to the original motor. 
  
  
• The MLF-20 is suitable for most "pancake' motored Lima Locomotives. It is a simple fit to Bo-Bo (dual) and Co-Co (triple) wheel arrangements. Wheel varieties from 11mm to 14mm in diameter across all HO/OO wheel widths and types are suitable housings for the MLF-20. When ordering, please specify conventional MLF-20 or MLF-38c for 38 Class Australian steam locomotives and MOST British steam locomotives.

• Because it is a replacement of the motor only it has no impact upon other aspects of the locomotive, it is equally comfortable with DCC or conventional powering. For more information on installation issues please view the installation assistance page.

Two product warranties are offered as part of your purchase: 

1. Product Performance Warranty [PPW]. A 30 day PPW offers a full money-back warranty if the product does not perform to your expectations. The only requirement to claim under this warranty is to return the kit to ModelTorque with a note detailing the area of dissatisfaction. 
2. Motor Warranty. A 5 year Motor Warranty applies with a free replacement in the event of motor failure within this period. This warranty excludes motor damage by stalling and ModelTorque reserves the right to investigate any failure to determine its cause prior to motor replacement. To claim under this warranty, a failed motor should be returned to ModelTorque for assessment with a note describing the operating conditions under which the failure occurred.
